The Shop is divided into three spaces.
It starts with design space. This is where ideas are put to paper. A large draft table, drafting tools and lots of pencils, help to keep things in perspective.
Next, there is the Art studio. This is where the painting supplies and other craft items are kept. Easels are always set up for painting. There is enough space to have multiple projects going on at once, which there usually is.
Then there is the wood shop. Table tools include a lathe, a drill press, 5 types of saws,,3 sanders, and a grinder. There are all sorts of hand power tools and regular hand tools. If there is a tool we need but don’t have , we will get it. The shop is well stocked and capable of making or fixing just about anything.
The Shop is a place to get creative. Cell phones should be shut off and left upstairs. They are a distraction and it is best to keep things private. Many tools are dangerous and require safety precautions including wearing mouth and eye protection. Follow safety precautions as listed in safety manuals. Remember, No Cell Phones in shop…
